The Kin Club of Nashwaaksis’ Annual Fredericton Santa Claus Parade, Saturday, November 29 beginning at 5 p.m.
This year’s theme is “An Old Fashioned Country Christmas.”
Community groups, schools, businesses, bands, and local organizations are invited to take part in one of Fredericton’s most cherished holiday traditions. Whether you’re entering a float, marching, or performing, this is your chance to bring your creativity and Christmas spirit to the streets of our city. This year’s parade will begin on Point Saint Annes Boulevard, travel east to Regent Street, then turn west onto King Street. From there, it will head north on Westmorland Street, continue west onto Queen Street, and finish back at Point Saint Annes Boulevard.
Applications available through Nasis Kin Club’s webpage: https://district7kin.ca/nashwaaksis/santa-claus-parade/.
This event is also on Facebook.
The parade is also the kick-off to the McDonald's Toy Drive!
Make sure you bring an unwrapped toy or monetary donation... we, along with our friends at McDonald's will be collecting your donations along the route. We will add those donations to everything collected on Tuesday December 9th at McDonald's on Prospect Street! All donations will be given to the Salvation Army and they will distribute the donations to all the families who need it this holiday season. We will be there December 9th and we hope to see you there!
