TAMPON TUESDAY with Move 106.9!
Menstrual hygiene products are one of the most requested - yet least donated - items at food banks. With your help, we can change that.
All April, from Tuesday, April 1st to Tuesday, April 29th, you dropped off feminine hygiene products at Regent Mall.
They’ll be distributed to those in need by The Salvation Army
With your help... we collected 564 packages of tampons that gave 17,341 individual uses!
Plus a monetary donation of $500 to buy even more! THANK YOU!
About The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army gives hope and support to more than 187,000 vulnerable people in the Maritimes each year. We offer practical assistance for children and families, often tending to the basic necessities of life. By meeting needs, we have been transforming the lives of deserving individuals throughout our community for more than 130 years. The Salvation Army Maritime Division spans the provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. When you give to The Salvation Army, you are giving hope today by investing in the future of marginalized and overlooked people. We provide several methods for making an online donation.
