Lighting up Downtown Halifax for over 30 years!

Join us on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. as Downtown Halifax comes alive for the 31st annual Nova Scotia Power Holiday Parade of Lights presented by Eastlink and hosted by the Holiday Parade of Lights Society.

A cherished holiday tradition for more than 30 years, the parade features illuminated floats, festive music, and plenty of holiday cheer as thousands gather to celebrate the start of the holiday season.

Spectators are also encouraged to give back by supporting MOVE 100’s Christmas Toy Drive in partnership with Canadian Tire and Virgin Radio’s food drive supporting FEED Nova Scotia.

The evening wraps up with a special appearance by Santa Claus, officially welcoming the festive season to Downtown Halifax.
