**2025 Show Update**
The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival (GOCF) Halifax is pleased to welcome Aziz Ansari, Matteo Lane, and Ricky Velez on Thursday, August 7, and Tony Hinchcliffe and the Killers of Kill Tony (David Lucas, William Montgomery, Ahren Belisle, and Kim Congdon) on Friday, August 8, bringing fresh energy and major star power to this summer’s already stacked lineup.
These acclaimed performers will now take the stage in place of Matt Rife, who has rescheduled his appearance due to a shift in his upcoming filming schedule, and is now confirmed to make his highly anticipated GOCF Halifax debut on August 6 + 7, 2026.
Fans who hold onto their tickets for Matt Rife’s Thursday, August 7 and Friday, August 8, 2025 will secure their spot at his newly rescheduled Halifax performances on August 6 & 7, 2026, sure to be a major highlight of the weekend. As a thank you and in appreciation of fans’ patience, ticket holders who keep their tickets for the rescheduled 2026 shows will receive one (1) complimentary General Admission ticket (for each ticket in their order) to attend one of the following Great Outdoors Comedy Festival Halifax shows in 2025:
● Thursday, August 7 - Aziz Ansari, Matteo Lane, Ricky Velez
● Friday, August 8 - Tony Hinchcliffe and the Killers of Kill Tony (David Lucas, William Montgomery, Ahren Belisle, and Kim Congdon)
● Saturday, August 9 - Jeff Arcuri and Caitlin Peluffo (Afternoon Show - Doors at 12:00 p.m.)
● Saturday, August 9 - Bert Kreischer, Whitney Cummings, Ms. Pat (Evening)
Three day pass holders for the 2025 Halifax festival have now been automatically upgraded to a 4 day festival experience to include the newly announced shows.
Those unable to attend the rescheduled 2026 dates will have the opportunity to request a refund during a designated window. Further details on how to select your 2025 show or request a refund will be shared directly with ticket holders.
With these new powerhouse performers joining this year’s festivities - and Matt Rife already confirmed for 2026 - Great Outdoors Comedy Festival Halifax is poised to deliver an unforgettable experience this August, and an exciting return in 2026.
