Hike for Hospice is an outdoor gathering where every step makes a difference.
Sunday, June 7
Time: 10:00 a.m.
Location: 660 Francklyn Street, front lawn beside Hospice Halifax
Website: hospicehalifax.ca/hike
When you support a Hike for Hospice team, you’re making each footstep create more of an impact of love and care. Help a team reach their fundraising goal and provide free, accessible grief supports, and compassionate end-of-life care for Nova Scotians.
If you’re not sure which team to support, Elliot the Hospice Halifax pug is putting his steps in. Search for Elliot when you go to make your donation and you’ll see his charming scrunched face.
The Hike Day begins with a family friendly gathering outside Hospice Halifax before hikers set off on their route through Point Pleasant Park. The event wraps up by welcoming hikers back and celebrating with a barbecue lunch.
Hikers are preparing for the big day on June 7 by collecting pledges to raise money for the free, end-of-life care and grief supports provided by Hospice Halifax.
