What is it?
On April 29th, our Superhero teams will unit at Mic Mac Mall for an action-packed kick-off event. Your team (of up to 10 people) will participate in a variety of entertaining challenges for everyone With every challenge your team completes, you will earn points to save (win) the day.
Then your mission really begins – work together with your team to fundraise $10,000! Teams can participate in many different ways- sponsored by their company, peer to peer fundraising, or work together to have your company match your fundraising efforts!
Teams will have until June 23rd to fundraise, when we’ll come back together to celebrate your heroic fundraising efforts and your role in bringing hope and joy to Wish Kid’s lives. Prizes await the top teams, but the ultimate victory lies in bringing hope and joy to wish kids' lives. Why should I join?
Right now, there are over 60 children waiting for their wishes in Nova Scotia – we need your help to grant them.
Every 20 minutes, a child is diagnosed with a critical illness. Every one of these kids needs a wish to help give them strength and joy. Wishes are more than a nice to have, they are a need to have, and they are an integral part of a child’s treatment journey. Research shows that wishes can help children feel stronger, more energetic, and more willing and able to battle their critical illnesses. How can I get involved?
Register a Superhero Squad (squads can include coworkers, family members, friends). Your first challenge will be to fundraise $10,000, as a team, to help grant wishes for children with critical illnesses. You don’t need any special skills to participate, just a willingness to raise funds in your community. It’s a great team building exercise your team will remember for years to come!
