2nd Annual Fundraising Evening at Nk'Mip Cellars
At Nk'Mip Cellars, North America’s First Indigenous-owned winery, we are organizing our 2nd Annual Fundraising Evening. Please join us on September 28th to help raise funds and awareness for the Indian Residential School Survivors Society.
The event will feature performances by 3 x World Champion Hoop Dancer, Dallas Arcand, gourmet food, wine stations, a silent auction, and more!
The Indian Residential School Survivors Society (IRSSS) strives to provide physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual growth, development, and healing through culturally-based values and guiding principles for Survivors, Families, and Communities with the goal of assisting First Nation Peoples in British Columbia to recognize and be holistically empowered from the primary and generational effect of the Residential Schools by supporting research, education, awareness, partnerships, and advocating for justice and healing. The Society assists Survivors with counseling, court support, information, referrals, workshops, and more.
