Description: Arts Umbrella’s Splash Art Auction returns for its 44th year on October 3, bringing together art, culture and philanthropy for one of Canada’s most anticipated charitable art auction events. This fall, the public is invited to step inside Splash through a free month-long exhibition at the Pendulum Gallery – offering a rare, up-close opportunity to view the innovative and diverse art collection before it heads to auction. From September 8 to October 1, the exhibition will showcase approximately 100 original works generously donated by established and emerging Canadian artists. Visitors who want to bring a piece home can place their bid online (starting September 8), with every purchase helping to fund Arts Umbrella’s transformative arts programming for young people.
