Event Information: Donate to help Nolan and Family. Nolan was diagnosed with brain cancer at age 8, he is now 17 and it has returned. He is going to Toronto Sick Kids Hospital for a clinical trial. We're setting up the cider tasting bar and bringing in some live music! You can grab some dinner from an awesome food truck and enjoy a stroll around Heeman's. This event will be rain or shine, as we're lucky enough to have a pretty cool greenhouse to make some memories in if the raindrops fall!

ElderDog Paws in the Park is an annual fundraiser at DeWolf Park in Bedford on Sunday, Sept 21, 2025 10:30 am to 2 pm. Rain date Sunday, Sept 28, 2025. This will be a fun interactive community event for families and dogs. There will be a vendor market and activities for dogs and their owners. ElderDog Canada is a 100% volunteer based, registered national charity focused on supporting seniors and caring for their dogs by helping with tasks (e.g., walking dogs and bringing dogs to appointments). Event Information: Bernie's Buddies kids' and youth grief peer support is holding a teen grief support event on Sunday September 28 at the Tantallon Library from 230pm to 430pm. Teens ages 13 to 17 experiencing a death loss are welcome to join for a therapy dog visit, yoga, and a creative art project exploring and acknowledging the emotions we experience following the death of a loved one.
